I consider this a good theoretical book on enterprise architecture hence my rating. It needs more real world practical elaborations to be a must have book.

  • By Carlo Marcoli on 7 August 2010

This is an introductory book positioning enterprise architecture as the link between business strategy and program management. The authors briefly explain all the major methods and content frameworks and walk the reader through a basic but insightful case study. It is a very good place to start for anybody looking for an overview on EA, before going into the study of any specific framework.

Very good outline of the field of Enterprise Architecture - however, there are always loads of typos in these Springer books - which is irritating considering the expense
